MIL DOLORES PEQUEÑOS is the third band leaded by Javier Colis after Vamos a Morir and Demonios Tus Ojos.
Avant-garde and experimentation are words that became known with in this band founded by Javier Colis (composer, lead-guitar, vocalist, writer and producer) in 1992. With Ajo (vocalist, writer) and Javier Piñango (percussionist, synthesizers, producer) joining to the project and the collaboration of Jaime Munárriz (co-producer, bass, trumpet, harmonica, and piano) came to light this same year their debut album, “Lady Lazarus”. A sample of which will be the personal style of a band that had creates tendencies and, as in all Colis projects combining in a fully natural way elements that may appear antagonic but that created a new and ultra original landscape in which sweetness mixes up with fragments extremely harsh and where the organic lives up with the most painful energy.
Theirs next release was “Soul Shack” (1994), with whom they reached a great popularity thanks to the anti prohibitionist song “De la piel pa’ dentro mando yo” (based on the lyrics by Antonio Escohotado, that collaborates with guitar and vocals in some maxi versions of this song published in 1995).
Afterwards, came the darker and naked “Madrid Capone” (1996), where Markus Breuss (trumpet) plays with them for the first time. From then on the members of MDP band change. Javier Piñango leaves the band and Nacho Colis (drums, back-up vocals, and occasionally bass) joins the band as a permanent member.
In October 1998, "Opio"
is on the market, the band’s last album and, for part of the media, their utmost album what makes it superb farewell.
At MDP gigs many and various musicians have taken part between them we can highlight Jaime Munárriz (Destroy Mercedes), Alejo Alberdi (ex-Derribos Arias), Susana Cáncer (ex-Chatarreros de Sangre y Cielo), Javier Bermejo, Margarita Blanca o Luis Escribano (ex-Clónicos).

Javier Colis was part of Vamos a Morir and Javier Corcobado had just dissolved Mar Otra Vez, it was 1987 and both decided to join their efforts and formed DEMONIOS TUS OJOS.
To achieve that they recruited Nacho Colis (drums, afterwards member of Los Chatarreros de Sangre y Fuego) and the guitarist Javier Almendral (later in Vírgenes Adolescentes), that changed his guitar for the bass- guitar.
Demonios Tus Ojos had brief but intense live that let behind an album under the same name, edited in 1998, where the complex personality of the band combining echoes of urban rock, blues, free and noise with an emotion and intensity that makes your skin full of goose bumps was spotted. The broken voice and lyrics of Corcobado, the madness and precision in the Colis´ brothers tandem and the energy and distortion from Javier Almendral provoked one of the greatest, intense and emotive short-circuit in Spanish modern popular music
